What does a stud wall cost?
Single-boarded partitions are typically 6 000 – 11 000 Ft / m² in labour. Double boarding, acoustic insulation or moisture-resistant board costs more.
How good is the sound insulation?
A well-built double-boarded wall with mineral wool gives around 45–50 dB — noticeably better than most people expect, but weaker than solid brick.
Can I hang heavy things on it?
Yes, but plan ahead: noggins or extra profiles must go in before boarding where a TV or basin will hang. Retrofitting is possible with special fixings but load is limited.
How long does it take?
A 10 m² partition typically takes 2–3 days including filling, plus drying time before painting.
