Frequently asked questions
How do I find a trusted professional?
Post your job for free and describe what you need. Professionals who match apply to it. At most three can contact you, so you don't get a dozen calls — you choose based on their profile, reviews and prices.
What does Taskd cost customers?
Nothing. Posting a job and receiving offers is free. Professionals pay to unlock a job, so there is no commission and no agency fee on your side.
How quickly will I get offers?
For most jobs the first professional applies within a few hours. For urgent work — a burst pipe, a blocked drain, a lockout — mark the job urgent so only those who can come the same day apply.
What kind of work can I book?
From plumbing and electrical work to cleaning, painting, moving, drain clearing and pest control — 17 trades, plus dozens of everyday tasks like furniture assembly, gardening and dog walking.
How do I know the professional is reliable?
We review applications for licensed trades by hand before they go live; freelancers for everyday tasks start straight away, on their own declaration. We don't check licences or ID. Each profile shows reviews written after completed jobs, the number of jobs done and prices — and only someone genuinely interested in your job can reach you.
Is Taskd available across Hungary?
Yes. Most professionals work in Budapest and the larger cities — Debrecen, Szeged, Miskolc, Pécs, Győr — but you can post a job anywhere in the country.
