How Taskd started
Taskd started with a kitchen renovation. Mine. I spent weeks trying to find someone to do the work — calls nobody returned, Messenger threads that went cold, quotes I was promised and never received. What should have been a few days of work dragged on for months.
Somewhere in the middle of it I realised the problem wasn't me, and it wasn't the tradespeople either. Budapest is full of good ones — they simply have no decent way of being found. Most of their work arrives through word of mouth, and the rest gets lost in unread messages.
So I built Taskd. You post what you need, and up to three professionals get in touch — not thirty phone calls, not a week of waiting. Providers set their own prices and keep every forint of them, with no commission. You choose based on real reviews.
What we stand for
