Waste removal and house clearance prices in Hungary, 2026

Clearances, rubble, skips — 2026 prices.

Waste removal is priced by volume, decided by two things: how much there is and who loads it. A van booked with loading costs more than transport alone, but it's usually the realistic option — the waste doesn't carry itself down from the third floor.

Van clearance (approx. 3 m³) including loadingHUF 35,000 – 70,000
Full flat clearanceHUF 80,000 – 250,000

In buildings without a lift, expect a per-floor surcharge of roughly HUF 2,000 – 5,000. Mention it up front so it isn't a surprise on the day.

What can't be taken?

  • Hazardous waste: paint, solvents, acids, batteries, medicines — these belong at a waste yard or with a licensed specialist.
  • Asbestos (e.g. old corrugated sheet): only a licensed company may transport it, under strict rules.
  • Tyres and electronic waste: often charged separately, ask in advance.
  • Large volumes of green waste: usually a separate item because it goes elsewhere.

Does a skip need a permit?

If the skip stands on a road, parking bay or pavement, a public-space permit is required, normally arranged by the provider — ask whether it's included in the price. On your own property, no permit is needed.

How do you know it's disposed of legally?

Waste transport requires a licence in Hungary. Ask where the waste goes and request an invoice. Waste fly-tipped at the edge of a forest can be traced back to you if your paperwork is in it — not a theoretical risk. Taskd treats this category separately and only approves verified operators.
