Do they bring a mower?

Some bring their own machine, some use yours. It changes the price noticeably, so say in the task whether you have one and how big the area is.

Is the cut grass taken away?

Composting or bagging on site is usually included; hauling it away isn't, as that needs a trailer or skip. Ask for it separately if you have nowhere to put it.

How often does a lawn need cutting?

Fortnightly from April to June, then roughly every three weeks through the dry part of summer. Most gardeners give a better rate for a standing arrangement.
